Creating an on-brand showroom space for customers
Luxury British watchmaker Christopher Ward needed a space in its head office where customers could come and try on its premium quality products. I created a well-lit and relaxed showroom environment that echoed the semi-formal style of Bond Street shops, but with distinctive elements that fitted the Christopher Ward brand: elegant tables for displaying products, feature wall clocks and soft furnishings in corporate colours.
The space is deliberately low-maintenance, so salesmen don’t need to rush around plumping cushions before inviting customers in, and doubles as an informal meeting room for the business. But it is primarily a sales space, and so every detail of the customer experience is considered – right down to the Emma Bridgewater mugs coffee is served in: proudly British, just like Christopher Ward.
I also redesigned the boardroom and other spaces in the offices as part of the overall project.
