Tranquil country spa
The Aquae Sulis Spa at Ickworth House is a boutique spa in the vaulted cellars of the National Trust heritage site. Samantha Johnson Interior Design was commissioned to style and fit-out the four treatment rooms and reception area. As the property was a Grade II listed building, there were strict guidelines to be adhered to regarding existing furniture and fittings. The colours and materials were selected to reflect and enhance the Aquae Sulis brand. The high ceilings and windows were made lighter to make the treatment rooms feel spacious.
