Design Junction 13
I spent a wonderful morning yesterday sourcing new interior design products at this fantastic contemporary design show in London.
Now in its 3rd year, it features more than 100 world-class international brands showcasing furniture, textiles and lighting and set against the stunning backdrop of a former postal sorting office. It combines culture with commerce with international brands, classic British brands and smaller companies showing off their wares.
The entrance hall is a buzzing market of high end design stores from around the world selling everything from mid century modern furniture, vintage design classics, fashion to fine jewellery, glassware, ceramics, books and lighting and a range of street food and a pop up restaurant from Jamie Oliver.
If you have the opportunity to visit it will be worth your while, otherwise the handful of products below are just some of the designs that caught my eye.

The pulp brand was created in 2012 by two families in Israel who own a printing press and bindery business going back 100 years. They market creative and inspirational stationary products for the desk.
I had to buy a dream journal with its hidden pen light – perfect for site visits.

Contemporary British sofas and chairs made in the UK. Ian and Judy Archer met at college. They were soon collaborating on projects where shape, texture & pattern were amalgamated to offer creative and highly innovative design solutions.
I love their newest products especially the Jumbo and Tango sofa with their dynamic and dramatic shape inspired by movement & dance. Their fixed back and seat enables the sofas to keep their shape and offer excellent comfort.

Since 2005 Vitamin has produced some lovely pieces that are a little out of the ordinary. With a keen eye for detail, they mix refinement and quality with fun and originality.
I loved the Knot pendant light with its hand blown glass shade with a unique monkey fist knot and flex.
